The General Science Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and concept-based Science lessons to students of Grades 7 and 8 as per the CBSE curriculum. The teacher fosters scientific curiosity, critical thinking, and practical learning while ensuring a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver Science lessons in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
- Conduct practical experiments, demonstrations, and activity-based learning sessions.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and maintain academic records.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Encourage scientific inquiry, problem-solving, and environmental awareness.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into classroom instruction.
- Maintain classroom discipline, laboratory safety, and student engagement.
- Participate in examinations, parent-teacher meetings, school events, and professional development activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support students’ academic and holistic development.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school is preferred.
- Strong communication, classroom management, and technology integration skills.
